I graduated Seneca College in 2005 and earned my degree in Veterinary Technology. I went on to work both in emergency medicine and in general practice until 20016. I decided to take a break and run an in-home daycare while continuing to stay involved in veterinary medicine. However, I realized how much I missed helping pets and their people and decided to become a virtual vet tech allowing me to do what I love while working from home. You may hear any number of voices in the background belonging to my partner Chris, my two children Maitland and Porter, my dog Jinx and cat Gretchen. When I’m not on the phones, I can often be found hiking with my dog, horseback riding with friends, reading, and knitting.

I have been working as a registered veterinary technologist since 2014. I am a compassionate caregiver and am truly happy when I get to talk to and support our clients through the good and difficult times. I love getting to be a part of the veterinarian-patient-client relationship and strive to build strong relationships with our clients by listening to and meeting your needs. I have a special interest in nutrition and the impact it can have on our pets’ general health and well-being as well as in the treatment of disease. I enjoy educating clients about these nutritional needs too. When I’m not getting to talk with you on the phone, I’m typically with my husband and our menagerie: Kevin, the goldendoodle, Clark and Teeka the cats, and Mushroom the dwarf hamster or painting, writing or caring for all of my houseplants.

I have been a registered veterinary technician since 2008. I grew up with a veterinarian mother who taught me a love of all things animal. I have worked with everything from mice to horses and have even gotten to observe an elephant evaluation. I love helping people and their furry family members while honouring, celebrating and developing the bond they share however that looks. I have several furry family members of my own, including an oversized dog named Skyy and guinea pig named Golden Peanut (guess what color he is). I also tend to three non-furry kiddos who make me so proud then quickly drive me bonkers, usually on the same day. When I’m not on the phones, I love puzzles and spending time with friends and family.
